COLLYWESTON COMMUNITY SHOP Opened on 1st July 2010, the shop is a "not for profit" organisation, any profits made will be reinvested to improve the business or used to support other community activities. Since opening we have made several donations to local good causes including: St Andrew’s Church, Collyweston Collyweston Playing Fields Association Collyweston Historical & Preservation Society Collyweston Young Citizens Collyweston Pantomime Players Collyweston Village Hall Committee
We have the backing of some very influential groups, see logo’s opposite, and funding from the Rural Development Programme for England Leader Project, The Plunkett Foundation’s Village Core Programme and Northamptonshire Community Foundation has enabled us to provide a very unique service for the benefit of the community.
Our aim is to provide a selection of quality, local produce not available elsewhere and although we are a small shop we are very competitive on price.
The Shop is manned by a friendly team of volunteers led by our full time Shop Manager Chris Machin. Chris has considerable experience in retail and is always available for advice on our products and to help with packing or delivery. At Collyweston Community Shop, our highest priority is satisfied customers. You are important to us and you can expect us to go the extra mile.
